Teeth Whitening

What to do before my appointment

Brush and floss beforehand (but not immediately before): Do this earlier in the day, not right before your appointment. This helps remove plaque without causing sensitivity.

Eat beforehand: You won’t be able to eat or drink anything (except water) for at least 1 hour after your treatment, so make sure you’ve had something before you arrive.

Let us know if you have dental concerns: Please tell us if you’ve had recent dental work or sensitive teeth so we can adjust accordingly.

What are the After Care Steps?

For 1 hour after your appointment avoid food and drink (except water). Your teeth need time to settle and seal after treatment. Only sip on water during this time.

For the following 24-48 hours stick to the “White Diet”, a diet of non staining foods. Your enamel is more porous after whitening, so avoid anything that could stain. You will be provided a list of do's and don'ts at your appointment.

No smoking or vaping for 24–48 hours. Nicotine stains quickly and can undo your results.

Keep up with good oral hygiene. Brush twice a day, floss daily, and keep up regular dental checkups for the best long-term results.

Top-up treatments: Results typically last 12 months, depending on your lifestyle. We recommend booking a top-up every 6 months to maintain brightness.

Does teeth whitening hurt?

Most clients feel no discomfort at all. A small number may experience mild sensitivity during or after treatment, but it typically fades within 24 hours.

Is Teeth Whitening Safe?

Our products have been thoroughly tested and proven to be 100% safe. We use the maximum allowed strength of 6% Hydrogen Peroxide to deliver the best possible results in 30-60 minutes. Our teeth whitening process complies with the Australian ACCC safety standards to produce noticeable results without compromising safety.

Is there anyone who cannot whiten their teeth?

Whitening cannot be undertaken by pregnant or breastfeeding mothers or children under 16. It is recommended that people with excessive gum recession avoid teeth whitening due to high risk of sensitivity.

Cosmetic teeth whitening works best on natural teeth. Our treatments can restore crowns, bridges, and veneers to their installed shade, however they will not whiten beyond their original colour.

Teeth whitening results from our treatment can last from 6 months up to 2 years depending on your lifestyle and oral health. If you want to keep your bright smile for longer, we recommend regular whitening sessions every 6-12 months. At your appointment we provide an At Home Whitening Kit to help with regular maintenance at home.
